Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is a process. Working together is a success!

This year YO!Fest is focusing on six principles that we believe Europe should be built on. Today, we are introducing “INCLUSION”.

Social exclusion and poverty among young people has increased during the economic crisis. We have to make sure everyone’s included!

To help stimulate this process, YO!Fest will deliver a programme of live events and activities, each bringing together the topic of INCLUSION.

At 10:00 you can join the workshop “What’s going on in the head of others?” and put yourself in someone else’s shoes: why do we think differently?

Starting from 11:00 until 15:00 there’s the Virtual Discrimination (The Antidiscrimination Foundation of the Province of Limburg) simulation where you can experience what it feels like to be rejected through a virtual experience.

At 11:45 you can explore the diversity in gender and sexuality and at 13:15 we encourage you to take part in a language class: Learn Esperanto – the easiest and most international language in the world!

From 15:00 until 17:00 you have the opportunity to walk in someone else’s shoes during a social rights role play.

You also have the option to take part in any ongoing activities, which you can join at anytime.

For example you can join a quiz “How much do you know about EU languages?” or discover the ways to experience Europe.
