Does the media speak our language?

Most media stories about young people are negative. Young people are often singled out in the media to create a dramatic, sensationalised stereotype that is often inaccurate. Where are the stories young people care about? Are their voices being heard and disseminated by the media? Is it possible for young people to challenge the way they are represented?

Join this discussion to analyse how young people are portrayed in the media, and discuss what can be done to improve the current situation.
